Meet Matt – Operations Controller
Part of my role as an Operations Controller is to help keep the network running on time, keeping everybody safe and making sure that our customers have a great journey. Every day is different, which is what is great about this job. You deal with different situations daily and there’s always a new challenge to try and overcome. I started working at Metrolink in 2018, first as a driver and now I work in the Network Management Centre. There are always plenty of opportunities at Metrolink to try something different.
Meet Millie – Recruitment Advisor
I support the recruitment of skilled and diverse talent across the organisation, working closely with managers to understand their hiring needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions. From advertising vacancies and engaging with candidates to coordinating interviews and managing offers, I play a key role in ensuring a smooth and professional recruitment process to ensure we attract the best talent.
What I enjoy most is interacting with different people across the business at all levels, understanding their business functions and, how my role has a positive impact on the team objectives and the wider business.
